The Singapore music fund blackx has entered into an exclusive multi-year partnership for global music rights with Tanya Chua.
As part of the partnership, Blackx will manage their entire repertoire of musical intellectual property rights. Tanya Chua is Asia’s record-breaking, award-winning producer and singer-songwriter with a career spanning over two decades. Her multiple awards at Taiwan’s 2022 Golden Melody Awards for Album of the Year and Best Mandarin Album came in for her DEPART album is the first win of this kind in the history of the awards. Tanya is the only artist to have won the GMA for Best Female Singer (Mandarin) four times – 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2022.
With the partnership, blackx will oversee the musical IP rights for Tanya Chua’s musical works, including all-time hits like Letting Go, Darwin, Blank Grid, Strangers, Bottomless Pit, Parabola, Aphasia, Don
Trouble Me and their latest award-winning album, DEPART. blackx will also manage the rights to top hits composed by Tanya Chua and performed by other renowned artists, as well as the rights to her collaborations with top artists such as Carla Bruni, Jolin Tsai, Jam Hsiao, A-Mei, Eason Chan, Na Ying and others.
The agreement also covers Tanya Chua’s future compositions and songs, paving the way for potential partner opportunities.

Tanya Chua’s works are streamed over 100 million times a year. In May 2023, she gave sold-out shows at the Taipei Arena to kick off her world tour “Kisses for the World – Let’s DEPART!”.
