Amazon is the official online merchandise partner for Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. Here’s the latest.
Beyoncé has teamed up with the online retailer for a series of four different merch drops during the North American leg of her tour. Drop 1.0 included five articles celebrating the iconography of the tour, available on Amazon’s Beyoncé hub. All online items are different from those available locally.
The collaboration gives customers around the world access to unprecedented product and memorabilia styles only in the Amazon Music Artist Merch store. The first issue of this four-part collection includes five items, including:
- Renaissance T Shirt | A custom-dyed premium heavyweight t-shirt featuring the iconic artwork that heralded the tour.
- Renaissance Marquee T-Shirt | A custom dyed, premium heavyweight t-shirt with a custom Renaissance marquee graphic.
- Renaissance Marquee Sweatshirt | A tailored, premium heavyweight sweatshirt featuring the Renaissance Marquee graphic.
- Renaissance marquee trousers | A custom dyed premium heavyweight jogging pant to pair with the crew neck sweatshirt.
- Renaissance marquee poster | A lithograph style print featuring the Renaissance Marquee graphic.
Future drops as part of the physical Renaissance Tour merchandise will be announced on Amazon Music social channels. Each drop will contain exclusive Renaissance items with designs different from the products sold in the venues.
Taylor Swift’s Eras tour is forecast to break the $1 billion touring mark this year — but this online merch drop could help Beyoncé bridge the gap. Selling merch online through Amazon is a smart move, especially as exclusive merch drops have become a defining feature of live tours. Meanwhile, it speaks to Amazon’s e-commerce power with a tour drop for Beyonce with Amazon Music as official partner.
The merch drop is in collaboration with the singer’s Parkwood Entertainment company. Parkwood Entertainment produced the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour (2013-2014), the Formation World Tour (2016), and the “Homecoming” performances at Coachella in 2018. Parkwood Entertainment also co-produced the On the Run Tour (2014 ) and On the Run II (2018).
