Create Music Group acquires Music for Pets, the pioneer in pet entertainment with more than 12 million hours of music for cats and dogs, with a proposed investment of $10 million.
Create Music Group has announced the acquisition of music for pets, an internationally recognized company that creates music and games for dogs and cats. Founded in 2017 by Amman Ahmed and Ricardo Henriquez, Music for Pets’ Relax My Dog and Relax My Cat series bring more than 12 million hours of music to more than 20 million pets worldwide every month.

This market is huge and there is a reason why Amman and Ricardo’s company is nicknamed ‘Petflix’.”
With just $1,000 of his life savings, Manchester-based Ahmed co-founded the company with Henriquez, who was inspired by his dog’s anxiety from loud noises in his El Salvador neighborhood and had begun composing music intended to calm pets.
Her approach to meeting the unique needs of pets quickly caught on and her original music has become a favorite for pets and their owners on YouTube, Spotify and other DSPs worldwide.
The company’s research shows that 87% of dog owners report their pets are less stressed after exposure to Relax My Dog content – something useful for dog owners this 4th of July weekend. The company will be posting special content on its YouTube channel during the US holiday.
