FAQ

Who is MONO?

MONO is the world’s leading design-oriented case manufacturer.

Why the switch?

We are switching to MONO cases because they are lighter, offer more protection and offer a higher quality design for our instruments.

What is shark skin?

MONO Sharkskin is the name of the outer fabric of our new MONO cases. This fabric is made from a durable weft of man-made polymers selected for their fine and lightweight texture. Sharkskin is durable, lightweight, and water-resistant, making it an ideal material for guitar cases.

When will all Ernie Ball Music Man instruments ship with MONO?

The rollout for certain models will be phased. We anticipate fully transitioning to MONO cases by the end of summer 2023.

Will the current case still be available?

The current housing models are no longer manufactured as we are switching to mono housings.

Can I order a standalone MONO case without an included instrument?

We currently only offer MONO cases with the purchase of an instrument, but are considering offering a standalone purchase option in the future.

Can I travel/fly with the MONO suitcase?

Yes, to ensure the safety of your instrument, we recommend that you always take your MONO case in your hand luggage and do not check it in. MONO enclosures are not ATA approved. Please check with your airline for specific carry-on baggage policies.

What is the guarantee for MONO cases?

All MONO cases are guaranteed for 1 year against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to improper use.
