Toy and games maker Hasbro has announced a worldwide management deal with Sony Music Publishing to manage its entire catalog of kid-friendly songs.

Hasbro has announced a deal with Sony Music Publishing to support the toy and games maker’s entire portfolio of kid-friendly songs from popular brands, including My Little Pony, Peppa Pig and Transformers. Sony Music Publishing will represent Hasbro’s existing global catalogue, which includes thousands of tracks from some of the most popular family shows of the past and present.

magic star, The OrchardHasbro’s global division of children and family entertainment has been appointed as Hasbro’s worldwide distribution partner for pre-recorded music. As part of the agreement, Magic Star will release new music centered around Hasbro’s portfolio of brands. These titles have access to The Orchard’s artist and label services and global distribution network. Magic Star will leverage its expertise in the children’s and family sectors to provide music to support Hasbro’s product lines and marketing initiatives.
