Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has announced it has signed a worldwide administration deal with rapper Kaliii.

Kaliii’s massive single “Area Codes” has racked up over 130 million streams and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. The single helped propel Kaliii to the top of the Billboard Emerging Artists chart in June 2023—leading to a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

The rapper recently released “K Toven,” a genre-bending record blending Jersey club sounds with classical elements. Kaliii was also featured on “Barbie Dreams” by FIFTY FIFTY as part of Barbie: The Album. Since dropping her first album in 2021, her catalog has amassed over 350 million streams across multiple platforms, with over 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

“I’m excited to join the Warner Chappell family,” adds Kaliii (Pictured 2nd Left) about the deal. “I can’t wait to work! It’s a Kaliii takeover!”

“Warner Chappell is a proven leader in the industry, and we’re excited to partner with a company that aligns with Kaliii’s vision and goals. We can’t wait to see what the future holds,” contributes Chanté Knox, Kaliii’s manager (pictured third left).

“There’s a new generation of talented lyricists making waves in the industry right now, and Kaliii is a clear standout above the rest. She’s an incredibly talented songwriter who knows what she wants in her career, and the whole Warner Chappell team is grateful to be joining her on this journey,” says Ryan Press, President, North America, Warner Chappell Music (pictured second right).

“It’s amazing to see the ascension of Kaliii,” adds Xavier Champagne, Senior Director, Urban A&R, Warner Chappell Music (Pictured Left). “Her creativity transcends music, serving as a vehicle of self-expression for both herself and her fans. We’re beyond excited to welcome her to the Warner Chappell family.”
