The managing director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, James Williams, is expected to serve as director of the Royal College of Music on September 1 next year.

Eat Music has hired Torben Meyer from Hanse Booking as Senior Talent Agent for International.

Interscope Geffen A&M has made four promotions: Sam Riback and longtime UMG contributor Nicole Wyskoarko are now A&R Presidents, Michelle An, a 17-year-old team member, became President of Creative Strategy, and Gary Kelly, an Interscope supervisor, has been Interscope’s GM for over 13 years and is Interscope Geffen A&M’s EVP and Chief Revenue Officer.
