Live Nation Teams Up with FUZE Technology to Provide More Charging Stations at Shows

Live Nation announces a partnership and equity investment with FUZE Technology to offer more charging stations at concerts and music festivals.

Live Nation has announced a multi-year partnership with FUZE Technology’s mobile phone charging platform chargeFUZE, making charging kiosks available across 30 Live Nation music festivals and 45 venues nationwide this year to reach over 25 million concertgoers. The deal includes an equity investment and a goal of providing kiosks at more than 300 Live Nation venues and festivals in the next few years.

Fans can rent a portable phone charger by visiting a chargeFUZE kiosk at a Live Nation event and scanning the QR code. The portable chargers are equipped with various charging cable options to accommodate many different devices. When fans finish charging, they can easily return the portable charger to any chargeFUZE kiosk or keep it for a small fee for future use.

“From digital tickets and mobile payments to navigating festivals and capturing and sharing memories on social media, the phone is now a critical part of experiencing live music events,” said Jessica Isaacs, Live Nation’s VP of Brand Management. “Our partnership with FUZE ensures fans stay connected throughout concerts and festivals without worrying about their battery life, and we’re excited about the convenience this partnership will bring them.”

Live Nation states that 60% of global live music attendees consider sharing their adventures on social media a significant part of their live music experience. The partnership with FUZE Technology ensures that fans can remain fully powered throughout their concert or festival experience without worry as they capture and share those experiences with friends.
