Miley Cyrus has made it clear that she has no interest in touring, explaining that this has nothing to do with her connection with the fans but rather with her comfort level: “I just don’t want to sleep on a moving bus.”

Miley Cyrus shared a statement on Instagram in which she clarified that she had no desire to tour and explained that it had nothing to do with her connection with her fans.

Cyrus recently revealed in a interview that she “couldn’t tour again” after headlining an arena tour to promote her in 2014 Bangerz Album.

“Not only can’t I – because it’s your ability – I want to,” she said British Vogue. “Do I want to live my life for the pleasure or fulfillment of others other than my own?”

“I feel more connected to my fans NOW than ever. If I win, WE win,” read Miley’s statement, which was posted on Instagram written in the iPhone notes app. “Even though I don’t see them face to face at a concert every night, my fans are deep in my heart. I’m constantly developing and innovating new ways to connect with the audiences I love – without sacrificing what’s important.”

“It has nothing to do with a lack of appreciation for the fans, but more to do with not wanting to get ready in the dressing room,” she said. “I just don’t want to sleep on a moving bus. It’s not the best for me at the moment.”

“If you’ve followed my career, you know I’m always changing, and the way I think (on tour) might change as well,” Cyrus concluded.

While Cyrus said in the interview that “singing to hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really what I love,” she also revealed that performing for her fans has been “some of the best days” of her life.
