Olivia Rodrigo has announced the release of their new single “Vampire” on June 30 through Geffen Records and Universal Music Canada. The track will be the Grammy winner’s first new music since her debut album, released in 2021. SOUR.

“My new song ‘Vampire’ will be released on June 30th! You can save upfront now,” the singer wrote Instagram.

20-year-old Rodrigo wrote the song with producer Daniel Nigro, who worked with her SOUR. fans can preorder the special limited physical version of “Vampire” which also includes Rodrigo’s first demo of the single, exclusively on CD and in the 7″ pressing.

SOUR debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and was the longest-running debut album of the 21st century to chart in the top 10, and the first to spend a full year there. The album also entered the charts at number 1 in the UK, Canada, Ireland, Norway, Holland, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, SOUR achieved the most audio streams for a female debut album in the US and broke the record for the most streamed album by a female artist in one week on Spotify.

The album is now certified 4x platinum in the US and has sold over 17 million copies worldwide, with over 40 billion streams worldwide. All 11 tracks on the album were RIAA certified and charted in the top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100 – making Rodrigo the first female artist to chart 11 or more songs in the top 30 simultaneously.

Rodrigo received seven Grammy nominations, including awards in each of the Big Four categories. At the 64th Grammy Awards, she won awards for Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance.

She was named New Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards, Woman of the Year at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music Awards, and Songwriter of the Year at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards and Variety Hitmakers.
