Paul McCartney and Paul Muldoon announce a new podcast titled McCartney: A Life in Lyrics from Pushkin Industries and iHeartPodcasts.
Paul McCartney collaborates with poet Paul Muldoon, his collaborator on the #1 bestseller. The text: 1956 to todayin a podcast about the musician’s creative process with a new podcast co-produced by Pushkin Industries and iHeartPodcasts, out September 20, 2023.
McCartney: A Life in Lyrics combines memoir, masterclass and impromptu discussion, with each episode focusing on a song from McCartney’s iconic catalog – from the early Beatles to his solo career.
The podcast offers listeners a unique opportunity to join conversations with McCartney and Muldoon as they analyze the people, experiences and art that inspired McCartney’s songwriting. Richly interwoven with contemporary music and soundscapes, the stories offer an insightful and entertaining look into the creative mind of an icon.

McCartney and Muldoon previously collaborated on the New York Times #1 bestseller to great acclaim The text: 1956 to todaywhich provided the origin of more than 50 hours of recorded conversations. The text will be released in paperback on November 7, 2023 with additional new chapters.
