Spotify announces the launch of Most Necessary Live, a quarterly live adaptation of the Most Necessary playlist featuring a series of regional showcases for up-and-coming rappers beginning August 2 in Houston.

Spotify has announced the launch of The most necessary life, a series of live shows featuring the hottest up and coming rappers from regions around the US, aiming to give early-career artists a big break with a physical expansion of the Most Necessary playlist. The first edition of the quarterly show kicks off August 2nd in Houston with KenTheMan, DeeBaby and more.

Spotify will continue to expand its support of emerging artists and celebrate the next generation of hip-hop by inviting top fans and friends to exclusive performances and more. Most Necessary Live kicks off August 2nd in Houston, TX with DeeBaby, KenTheMan, Mike Dimes, MONALEO, That Mexican OT and surprise guests. The series will run once a quarter and will reach multiple cities across the country.

Dubbed the “Official Voice of the Next Generation on Spotify”, Most Necessary celebrates some of the hottest up and coming rappers to hit the playlist in real life and connects them to their top listeners through exclusive performances.
