Stagecoach 2024 is sold out—while Coachella passes for both weekends are still available. What gives?

Goldenvoice operates both massively popular festivals, but this year has been something of an oddity for Coachella. Following last year’s disastrous Frank Ocean set and 2022’s Kanye stunt—it looks like concertgoers may be taking a raincheck on Coachella this year.

Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat are headlining Coachella this year, with a No Doubt reunion waiting in the wings. Also on the bill? Ice Spice, J Balvin, Peso Pluma, and many more. But ticket sales have been the most sluggish for the Coachella festival in a long time. Tier 3 packages for Weekend 1 are still available, while all three tiers remain for Weekend 2.

Meanwhile, Stagecoach 2024, the country music-focused festival produced by Goldenvoice—sold out fairly quickly. Tickets went on sale on September 15, 2023 and were sold out by the beginning of October. The Stagecoach line-up for 2024 might have a lot to do with that sell-out as the three-day festival will feature Eric Church, Miranda, Lambert, and Morgan Wallen as headliners.

Also appearing this year at Stagecoach are Jelly Roll, Elle King, Dwight Yoakim, Post Malone, Willie Nelson, The Beach Boys, Willie Jones, and special features from Nickelback, Diplo, and Wiz Khalifa. Other attractions include a Ferris wheel, the Compton Cowboys, Guy Fieri’s Stagecoach Smokehouse, and a Honky-Tonk dance hall.

While Stagecoach has never suffered for ticket sales, its worth noting that the lineup this year also helped the festival reach its biggest ticket sales in the festival’s 16-year history. This is Morgan Wallen’s first time headlining the festival—which is a huge draw for live music fans.

“Stagecoach is such a legendary festival, and I am honored to be headlining the final night,” Wallen said when the lineup was announced. “I have so many friends who never miss it and I know this will be a monumental weekend for all of us.”

Indeed—if you’re looking for live music tickets though, Coachella has plenty available. Otherwise you’ll need to brave third-parties for those three-day passes for a stacked lineup.
