Ed Sheeran celebrates his win in a bitter copyright infringement lawsuit with brand new footage. He will also lead this year’s lineup of Apple Music live performances.

According to Apple, Ed Sheeran will premiere his new album in full on May 10 on Apple Music and Apple TV+. The second season of Apple Music live kicks off with this exclusive performance at the Eventim Apollo in London. In this intimate live performance, Sheeran will present his new album, subtract, for the first time in its entirety alongside a 12-piece band that also includes The National’s Aaron Dessner.

Sheeran’s Apple Music Live performance premieres on Apple Music on Wednesday, May 10th at 12pm PST. For the first time and for all future Apple Music Live performances, it will also be available to stream on Apple TV+.

The first season of Apple Music Live kicked off in 2022 with a live stream of Harry Styles One Night Only in New York to celebrate the release of his album Harry’s House. Other performances over the past year include Billie Eilish’s Live at the O2 performance, Alicia Key’s Holiday Masquerade Ball, and other top artists like Lil Durk, Mary J. Blige, Luke Combs, and Wizkid.

“I’m excited to share my Subtract album show with you,” Sheeran says of the upcoming gig. “I was really nervous that day as it was my first time performing the new album tracks. The show was brought to life by Aaron and the incredible band and it was an honor to be alongside them. It was an emotional evening but I’m so glad we were able to document it.”

“We’re thrilled to present this Apple Music Live show, which offers a totally unique perspective on how one of the world’s most beloved musicians is dealing with some of the most profound trauma imaginable,” said Matt Wilkinson, Apple presenter Music 1. “It’s an emotional, deep ride — but also extremely fulfilling.” An interview between Sheeran and Wilkinson will air May 9 on Apple Music 1 ahead of the live performance.
